CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION Iv'O. 66- /~~ <br />BY ~.rs,~._ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br />FOR THE SURFACE TREATMENT OF CERTAIN ROADS <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, AN D <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Director of Public <br />Service and Public Safety that there are certain roads within the City of <br />North Olmsted requiring surface treatment; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has been further advised that in order to repair <br />said roads and to make them useable to the citizens of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to maintain roads within the City of <br />North Olmsted in an excellent condition far the use of the citizens of North <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Director of Public Service and Public Safety <br />be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for surface treatment <br />to the following streets within the City of North Olmsted in accordance with <br />the plans and specifications now on file in his office: Midvale; Dewey Road; <br />North Park Drive; Martin Drive; Oring Road; Lansing Drive; Wellesley Avenue; <br />Whiteh~ven Avenue; Broxbourne Road; Elmhurst Road; Mill Road; Whitehorn Avenue <br />from Lorain Road to St. Richards; Silverdale Road from Lorain Raad to Sellhurst; <br />Grace Avenue from Brookpark to Mastics; Gessner Road from Columbia Road to <br />Walter Road; The North Olmsted Park Road from East Park to West Par}:; Service <br />Road and Gladland. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergen~°y <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the City.
