CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO, 66- $~ <br />BY ___, .L.i~,r,~,~.e <br />U <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHOR'laNG THE SALE OF REAL <br />PROPERTY ON FITCH ROAD AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, cetain real property located on Fitch Road in the City <br />of North Olmsted is no longer needed for municipal purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the State of Ohio, Department of Highways is desirous <br />of purchasing said real property for state highway purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, Council having been advised of alI the terms and <br />conditions of sale is bf the opinion that it would be to the best interests of <br />the citizens of the City of North Olmsted that said sale be consummated. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Mayor, be and he is hereby authorized to enter <br />into an agreement to sell the premises known as 5871 Fitch Fad, permanent <br />parcel no. 235-20-2 to the State of Ohio, Department of Hi~jhways, for the <br />price of 518, 800.00, such sale agreement to be in such form as may be <br />approved by-the Director of Law. Said parcel of real estate is hereby <br />determined to be no longer necessary for municipal purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />Section 2: That the Mayor is further authorized to execute the deed <br />conveying title to said premises to the State of OH o, Department of Highways . <br />Section 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public health, welfare, safety and <br />peace of the City by reason that the immediate sale of said real estat® to the <br />State of Ohio is necessary to expedite the building of Interstate Highway 80 <br />through the City of North Olmsted. WHEREFORE, this ordinance shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period <br />allowed by law . <br />PASSED: .~ <br />ATTEST: <br />Margaret T.
