<br />According to a.dvertisement in Suburban News one bid was received for a new
<br />Diesel motor:

<br />Reao1ution #1720 Vras introduced by Mr. Kramer. A Resolution accepting the
<br />bid of GtAC Truclc and Coach. It was moved and seconded that the 3t3+„U.tOY'y
<br />rule be suspended and the Resolution be read immediately the second and
<br />third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said moti:on
<br />was as follows: Baurngardner, Hatton, Kramer., Lewis, Paddoclt, Scott. There-
<br />upon the Resolution was read the second and third times and put upon its
<br />passage, a.nd the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Baumgardner, ?
<br />Hatton, Kramer, Leiqis, Paddock, Scott.
<br />The Council met w.i.th tha Bus.Drivers in connection with their request for an
<br />increase in their hourly rate. Mr: Conroe of the I3rotherhood of Railroad
<br />Trainmen was also present. The Mayor explained the financial condition of
<br />the Bus Line. Mr. Baumgardner also addressed the Bus Drivers and answered
<br />questior.s that were asked. It appeared that the present s?atus of the
<br />Bus Line was such as to not warrant an immediate increase in hourly rate to
<br />the drivers.
<br />It was moved and seconded that the Clerk be instructed to have ris Fund
<br />Ledgers, Ordinance, Resolution, Il.inute and Pay Ordinance Books per:nanently

<br />A petition for a storm sewer on Florence Avenue was received: It was mAVed
