CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014 — 80 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY GENERAL HEALTH DISTRICT FOR THE <br />YEAR 2015, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted, under R.C. §3709.08, is a member of the <br />General Health District of Cuyahoga County; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted must enter into a contract for the year 2015 for <br />health services to be performed by the Cuyahoga County Health District. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract, a <br />copy of which is attached hereto and marked as Exhibit "A," with the Cuyahoga County General <br />Health District to provide health services to the City of North Olmsted from January 1, 2015 to <br />December 31, 2015. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that the current contract expires on December 31, 2014, and the new contract must <br />be in effect by that date to insure continuation of delivery of vital health services to the residents <br />of North Olmsted, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two - thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: �� /t,, � <br />ATTEST: <br />MARIE 6 LLO <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: /1 u, /Jo I I <br />MAYOR KEVIN M.
