CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015 — 4 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZING THE MA YOR TO PURCHASE SEVERAL <br />NEW AND USED LAWNMOWERS AND RELATED GOLF COURSE <br />MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT FROM CENTURY EQUIPMENT, <br />KRYSTOWSKI TRACTOR, AND BAKER VEHICLE SYSTEMS AT A COST <br />OF $240,000.00, THROUGH, IN PART, THE STATE PURCHASE <br />PROGRAM, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br />ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE SUCH PURCHASE, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the lawn mowing equipment in use by the City of North Olmsted Springvale <br />Golf Course has reached the end of its useful life and staff has solicited quotes for its <br />replacement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the City of North Olmsted purchase the lawn <br />mowing and related equipment, both new and used, as detailed herein, the total cost of which is <br />$240,000.00, utilizing the state purchase program when applicable; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to purchase said <br />equipment, through the State purchase program. when applicable, and as a permitted exception to <br />the competitive bidding procedure that otherwise would be required for such expenditures, and to <br />further authorize the Mayor to execute any documents required for such expenditure. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to purchase through the <br />State Purchasing Program, which was established by R.C.
