CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2015—34 <br /> BY: Mayor Kennedy <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF AND AUTHORIZING THE <br /> MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE OHIO PATROLMAN'S BENEVOLENT <br /> ASSOCIATION, FOR THE DISPATCHERS, FOR THE PERIOD <br /> JANUARY 1, 2015 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2017, AND <br /> DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA,AND STATE OF OHIO: <br /> SECTION 1: That the collective bargaining agreements negotiated by and between <br /> the Administration and the Ohio Patrolman's Benevolent Assn., for the Dispatchers, for the <br /> period January 1, 2015, through December 31, 2017, copies of which are on file in the office <br /> of the Director of Human Resources, are hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized to <br /> execute the said agreements. <br /> SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br /> immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, of <br /> this City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective <br /> to fully implement new protocols/pay standards within the agreement; and further provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and <br /> be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br /> PASSED.
