CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2015 - 50 <br /> BY: Mayor Kennedy <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ESTABLISHING CHAPTER 179.99 <br /> OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, ENTITLED "COMPOSITION AND <br /> ORGANIZATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT" IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR THE <br /> REORGANIZATION OF THE DIVISION OF BUILDING, AND <br /> DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br /> WHEREAS, this Council via Ordinance 2010-63 established the organization of the <br /> Department of Planning and Development, including Organizational Charts, for the purpose of, <br /> among other things, organizing and/or stating the employee complement within the Division of <br /> Building; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mayor Kennedy, with the advice of Director Wenger, desires to create a <br /> position of Permit Clerk within the Division of Building; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Permit Clerk shall be responsible for, among other things, clerical, <br /> scheduling, recording, and information retrieval services, all as more fully detailed in the Job <br /> Description on file within the Department of Human Resources; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to implement the organizational changes <br /> recommended by Mayor Kennedy and Director of Planning Wenger as set forth herein. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY,AND STATE OF OHIO: <br /> SECTION 1: That Chapter 179.99 "Composition and Organization of the Department of <br /> Planning and Development" which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit A, which <br /> is attached to this Ordinance and incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten herein, shall be <br /> amended at section 179.99(a) and (b) and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in <br /> Exhibit B, which is likewise attached to this Ordinance and likewise incorporated by reference as <br /> if fully rewritten herein. <br /> SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with <br /> this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. Conflicting or <br /> inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re-codification. <br /> SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br /> immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and, <br /> additionally, it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately to ensure the <br /> continued, effective operations within the Division of Building, and provided it receives the <br />
