CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 - 2 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE OHIO PATROLMAN'S BENEVOLENT <br />ASSOCIATION, FOR THE DISPATCHERS, FOR THE PERIOD <br />JANUARY 1, 2018 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2020, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMS TED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the collective bargaining agreements negotiated by and between <br />the Administration and the Ohio Patrolman's Benevolent Assn., for the Dispatchers, for the <br />period January 1, 2018, through December 31, 2020, copies of which are on file in the office <br />of the Director of Human Resources, are hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized to <br />execute the said agreements. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, of <br />this City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective <br />to fully implement new protocols / pay standards within the agreement; and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: F613 ('0r rV 6- <br />ATTE <br />CHARLES MASSAROLO H <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: Z _ 6 <br />MAY R EVIN M.
