CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82- 149 <br />BY: Ronald J. Wilamosky <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1982, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA <br />AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Finance Director be and he is hereby authorized and <br />directed to transfer appropriations as follows: <br />FROM TO <br />General Fund - Fire Department - <br />Dormitory Expense...... 7g8.75 Supplies ................ 600.00 <br />Equipment Purchase.....500.00 Station Maintenance..... 198.75 <br />Uniforms .............. 300.00 Repair of Equipment..... 800.00 <br />TOTAL $1,598.75 $1,598.75 <br />Sewer Revenue Fund <br />Chemicals........ $25,000.00 <br />Ptant Maintenance $25,000.00 <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his <br />warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing appropriations <br />upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, approved by the Board of <br />Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council <br />to make the expenditures provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for <br />salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with <br />law or Ordinance. Provided, further that the appropriations for contingencies can <br />only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense <br />constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those <br />covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested <br />capy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, <br />and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for the continuity of <br />services, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members of Councit, It shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED • I/ <br />ATT EST : <br />Florence E.
