CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 82- 114 <br />BY: RONALD WILAMOSKY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR A COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE <br />TO BE USED BY THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it would be in <br />the best interest of the City to purchase its own computer so that <br />the City will no longer have to rely on the computer services of <br />the Regional Income Tax Authority, and <br />WHEREAS, it is also the desire of this Council to look into <br />the possibility of direct billing residents of the City of North <br />Olmsted for sewer service charges. <br />NOW, THEREFCRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized an directed to advertise for bids for a computer and <br />the necessary software, which computer and software will be used <br />by the Finance Department. Said bids shall be solicited on the <br />basis of plans and specifications now on file in the Office of <br />the Director of Finance, and that upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />and execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that it is necessary to program the new computer to collect <br />sewer charges, and for the further reason that it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: a <br />ATTEST: <br />APPROVED :?, /A/Lyo?_ <br />? .
