CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82 - 109 <br />BY: DEAN MCKAY <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBF.R 31, 1982, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Finance Director be and he is hereby <br />authorize an irected to transfer Recreation Program Fund <br />appronriations as follows: <br />FROM TO <br />Capital Improvements ..... $1,900.00 Equipment Maintenance and <br />Repair ........ $1,900.00 <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finnace is hereby authorized <br />to draw ls warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the <br />foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefor, anproved by the Board of Officers authorized by law <br />to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the <br />expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for <br />salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority o_f and in <br />accordance wtih law or Ordinance. Provided, further that the appropri <br />ations for contingencies can only be expanded upon approval of two- <br />thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obli- <br />gation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by <br />the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency <br />measure imme iately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary for the continuity of services, and further provided it re- <br />ceives the a£firmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: a <br />ATTEST: <br />FLO CE E.
