LOGAN <br />? <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82-19? <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1191.03 OF THE ZONING <br />COPE, ENTITLED "SPECIFIED USES PERMITTED IN LIMITED <br />INDUSTRY DISTRICTS" OF CHAPTER 1191, ENTITLED "LIMITED <br />INDUSTRY DISTRICT DEFINED AND USES PERMITTED". <br />WHBREAS, there is presently pending before Council a <br />proposal to rezone certain residential land to Limited Industry <br />District which ordinances are known as Ordinance 81-21 and 81-22, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, this administration is keenly aware of the <br />fears of residential property owners relative to the types of <br />industry that can be placed adjacent to or in the vicinity of <br />their residential homes, and <br />WHEREAS, although the administration approves and has pro- <br />posed the rezoning covered by Ordinances 81-21 and 81-22, the <br />administration at the same time desires to protect the residential <br />integrity in the area of said rezoning, and further desires to <br />protect the residential integrity of all area that abuts or is <br />in the area of the industrial zone within the City of North Olmsted, <br />an d <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this Ordinance is to limit the <br />permitted uses in the industrial area where the same butts up to, <br />is adjacent to, or is in the immediate area of any residence district. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 1191.03 of the Zoning Code entitled, <br />"Specified-Uses Permitted in Limited Industry Districts" of Chapter <br />1191, entitled "Limited Industry District Defined and Uses Permitted" <br />which now reads: <br />"1191.03 Specified Uses Permitted in Limited Industrv Districts <br />(A) Any retail business that is a part of and in <br />conjunction with products ma-iiufactured hy the <br />industry at its location. <br />(B) Office buildings; loft buildings; telenhone <br />exchanges; transformer stations. <br />(C) Research, technical and testing laboratories. <br />(D) Light gauge sheet metal shops; plumbing shops <br />and plumbing supply shops, but excluding <br />foundries; sign, display or decorating shops; <br />printing shops. <br />(E) Carpet, dry cleaning or dyeing plants. <br />(F) Cold stoxage and food locker plants. <br />(G) Bottling plants and creameries. <br />(H) Food, confection and drug manufauturing. <br />(I) Garment manufacture.
