CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 82-28 <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SERVICE <br />DIRECTOR TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />2,000 TONS OF ASPHALT, AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, NS AMENDED. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and <br />he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 2,000 tons of <br />asphalt for use in repairing the streets of the City, according <br />to specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval b,y the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute same <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to provide for the City's re- <br />quirements for asphalt to repair the streets, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immedi- <br />ately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED; ?Xj UR, /9foZ <br />ATTEST: <br />A.-2 A (o • <br />4!4?0?
