CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 82-35 <br />BY THE MAYOR AND THE ENTIRE COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO MCDONALD'S <br />RESTAURANT FOR THE PIRATE SHIP DONATED TO THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, FOR USE AT THE RECREATION COMPLEX. <br />WHEREAS, MCDONALD'S RESTAURANTS, in continuing to be good, <br />civic minded citizens, proceeded to remodel and improve their <br />restaurant, located at 27322 Lorain Road, in the City of North <br />Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, the knowledge became public that the Pirate Ship <br />located within said restaurant would be removed, and <br />WHEREAS, when the City Engineer became aware of this, he <br />asked to have this Pirate Ship donated to the City of North Olmsted, <br />for use at the Recreation Complex, to be enjoyed by the children of <br />the City, and <br />WHEREAS, MR. TIM SMITH, AREA SUPERVISOR OF MCDONALD'S, and <br />an active member of the community, agreed that this donation could <br />be made. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That MR. TIM SMITH AND MCDONALD'S RESTAURANTS be <br />publicly thanke ^for their latest generosity. <br />SECTION 2: That as in the past, whenever asked to lend a <br />helping and to the community, MCDONALD'S has never refused. <br />SECTION 3: That this latest act of generosity be publicly <br />acknowle?ge an that the Clerk of Council be directed to forward a <br />duly authenticated and executed copy of this Resolution to MCDONALD'S <br />corporate offices and to MR.
