LOGAN <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZINr THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS F'OR <br />SIX (6) 1981 or 1982 PICKUP TRUCKS Tp BE <br />USED IN THE OPERATION OF THE NORTH OLMSTED <br />SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY 0F CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids f'or six (6) new 1981 or <br />1982 pickup trucks to be used iri the North Olmsted Service Depart- <br />ment: said trucks shall be in accordance with specifications now <br />on file in the Office of the Director of Public Service and that <br />upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby author- <br />ized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />the present trucks have high mileage and are badly deteriorated, <br />and further provided it receives an affirmati.ve vote of two-thi_rds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval b,y the Mayor. <br />PASSED: / .Z <br />ATTEST: <br />b •_?__ ? ? <br />F OhENCE E.
