CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 82-55 <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR NEW TIRES AND <br />TUBES FOR USE BY THE CITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARINCx AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for new tires and tubes to <br />be used by the City in accordance with the specifications now on <br />file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />the anticipated purchase cost will fall above the biddin? limit as <br />set forth in the City Charter, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : t.L. /'? f ?, <br />ATTEST: <br />6 • 1, <br />FLORENCE E.
