CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82 - 91 <br />BY: Mayor Swietyniowski <br />?y <br />?' <br />PA. <br />?. i , 1AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS <br />FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES <br />FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR THE <br />YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1982, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Finance Director be and he is hereby author- <br />ized and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: <br />FROM <br />TO <br />Administrative Staff. . . . . . $1,000 Service Dir. Staff .......$1,000 <br />Longevity . . . . . . . . . . . $1,000 Gen. Clerical Part-Time...$1,000 <br />TOTAL: $2,000 $2,000 <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the fore- <br />going appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers <br />therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve <br />same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; <br />provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages <br />except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or <br />Ordinance. Provided, further that the appropriations for contingencies <br />can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items <br />of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for <br />purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations <br />herein made. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary for the continuity of services, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence E.
