A4- At- <br />? <br />RESOLUTION N0. 82 - 122 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR FIVE (5) NEW <br />POLICE CARS TO BE USEll BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, this Council and the Administration deems it advisable <br />to have a continuing program whereby older vehicles are retired <br />so as to eliminate the cost of maintenance, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council and the Safety <br />Department that the City is in need of five (5) additional police <br />cars which will replace five (5) existing police cars. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLNISTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby aut orized to advertise for bids for five (5) new police <br />cars which shall be in accordance with specifications now on file <br />in his office , and that upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />and execute same on behalf of the City of Plorth Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be <br />in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PAS S E D: <br />ATTEST: <br />orence E.
