MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL: <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JUNE 4, 2019 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Brossard, Glassburn, Kearney, <br />Limpert & Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Director of Human <br />Resources Gallo, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Safety & Service <br />Glauner, Director of Planning & Development L.,ieher and Clerk of <br />Council Massarolo <br />Absent: Council Members Hemann & Schumann <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join the Scouts and Council in the recitation of <br />the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />The Council meeting minutes of May 21, 2019 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: None. <br />The Honorary Officials for All Scouts Day 2019 were announced. Doug Roebuck was <br />named Mr. Scouting and Cindy Roebuck was named Mrs. Scouting. Both were presented <br />with proclamations by Mayor Kennedy and Council President Jones. <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Law Gareau: <br />• No Report. <br />Director of Finance Copfer: <br />• On May 14, 2019 Moody's Investor Services issued an annual comment on North <br />Olmsted. They do ratings fir bonds. They said the City"s credit pc►sition is very <br />strong and the Aa2 rating is slightly above U.S. Cities median, which is Aa3. The <br />notable credit factors include a robust financial position, a healthy wealth and <br />income profile and sizeable tax base. Also reflected is the manageable debt <br />burden of the City and an elevated pension liability, which is a change in <br />accounting for the entire country. <br />Councilman Brossard Vice Chairman ofthe Finance Committee: <br />
