CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2019 - 94 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING, REORGANIZING AND RE- <br />ESTABLISHING SECTION 131.99 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, <br />ENTITLED "COMPOSITION AND ORGANIZATION OF THE OFFICE OF <br />MAYOR" IN ORDER TO ADD THE POSITION OF "CLUBHOUSE <br />COORDINATOR" TO THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART UNDER THE <br />DIVISION OF SPRINGVALE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has established and amended the organizational chart for the <br />office of Mayor pursuant to the following Ordinances: Ord. 2010-62, Passed 6-15-10; Ord. 2010- <br />106, Passed 9-8-10; Ord. 2010-152, Passed 11- 16-10; Ord. 2012-47, Passed 9-4-12; Ord. 2014- <br />56, Passed 9-2-14; and Ord. 2016-53. Passed 5-17-16, for the purpose of, among other things, <br />the Division of Springvale reporting directly to the office of Mayor; and <br />WHEREAS, the new Clubhouse addition has provided additional business opportunities <br />for the Division of Springvale and the establishment of a Clubhouse Coordinator, working under <br />the Event Coordinator, is intended to maximize the revenue opportunities presented by the new <br />Clubhouse facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to implement the organizational and <br />departmental change recommended by Mayor Kennedy as set forth herein. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 131.99 which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in <br />Exhibit A, which is attached to this Ordinance and incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten <br />herein, shall be amended and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit B, <br />which is likewise attached to this Ordinance and likewise incorporated by reference as if fully <br />rewritten herein. <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with <br />this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. Conflicting or <br />inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re -codification. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the public health, safety and welfare; and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two thirds of the members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: -� � ���� First ReadingC_ q <br />
