CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - 158 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH IWORQ SYSTEMS FOR A WORK ORDER <br />MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FOR STORM, STREETS AND WASTE <br />WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATIONS, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City has been utilizing the iWorQ work order management system in the <br />Department of Public Service for the past several years, in a limited capacity, and has found it to <br />be vital in improving work flow management, job status tracking and problem resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the use of iWorQ has improved efficiency and it is now recommended for <br />use in the Storm, Streets and Wastewater Treatment Plant operations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Administration and Department of Law recommend that a contract be <br />entered into which will incorporate three (3) additional product modules into the iWorQ <br />management system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />with iWorQ Systems for an expanded work order management system. Said contract shall be <br />substantially in the form of the contract marked as Exhibit "A" and attached hereto, with only <br />such changes therein as are not substantially adverse to the City and which are approved by the <br />Director of Law. The character of any such changes as not being substantially adverse to the City <br />shall be evidenced conclusively by the execution of the agreement by the Mayor and the approval <br />of the agreement by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />for the reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately to ensure <br />continuation of the current vital management system in 2021, all the while expanding the service <br />capability to Storm, Streets and Wastewater Treatment Plant operations; and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: _5r�U��� ���, ���� First Reading: <br />Second Reading: j -161 <br />Third Reading: S✓l-��N� <br />
