CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021 - 25 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZING THE MA YOR TO ENTER INTO A <br />CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF FAIRVIEW PARK, OHIO FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF PROVIDING THE CITY OF FAIRVIEW PARK JAIL <br />SERVICES FOR HOUSING OF FAIRVIEW PARK PRISONERS IN THE <br />NORTH OLMSTED CITY JAIL. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted presently operates its own professional and <br />certified jail facility, operated and staffed by the North Olmsted Division of Police; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Fairview Park, through its Police Department, in an effort to <br />provide for housing of prisoners in its custody, has negotiated with the North Olmsted Division <br />of Police to provide for such jail services; and <br />WHEREAS, the Administration recommends and it is the desire of this Council that the <br />City of North Olmsted enter into contract with the City of Fairview Park to provide jail services <br />for housing of Fairview Park prisoners in the North Olmsted jail. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract, on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to provide for jail services to be performed for the City of <br />Fairview Park, and associated with the housing of Fairview Park prisoners at the North Olmsted <br />jail.
