CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2022-6 <br />BY: Mayor Dailey Jones <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL <br />BY ESTABLISHING THE DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT WITH <br />CORRESPONDING NEW POSITIONS OF DIRECTOR AND ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY; <br />RENAMING THE DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT; CREATING THE NEW POSITION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE MAYOR WITHIN THE OFFICE OF MAYOR; CREATING THE NEW <br />POSITION OF JUVENILE DIVERSION COORDINATOR WHILE REMOVING THE ADMINISTRATOR <br />WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT; RETITLING THE <br />SECRETARY POSITION IN DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY <br />WITH CORRESPONDING WAGES; MOVING THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT COMMUNICATIONS <br />MANAGER TO THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR; MOVING OUTREACH CASE MANAGER IN THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO THE NEW SECTION OF <br />RECREATION AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT; REESTABLISHING THE DIVISIONS OF INFORMATION <br />TECHNOLOGY, BUILDING, DIVISION OF AGING, SPRINGVALE AND PARKS AND RECREATION <br />WITHIN NEW DEPARTMENTS; AND ELIMINATING THE DIVISION OF YOUTH AND FAMILY, FOR <br />THE YEARS 2022 AND 2023; AND OTHERWISE RESTATING THE COMPENSATION RATES AND <br />DESCRIPTIONS FOR VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL FOR THE <br />YEARS 2022 AND 2023, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for legislative employees for the office of Council. <br />The salaries in this Section shall be determined by City Council as ap ro riate. <br />(BW = Biweekly; PH = Per Hour) <br />A. Office of Council FROM 2021To <br />1. President of Council 2022 2023 Period <br />(established by separate Ordinance 2020-123, through 2025) <br />2. Council -At -Large Members (established by separate Ordinance 2018-89, through 2023) <br />3. Ward Council Members (established by separate Ordinance 2020-123, through 2025) <br />4. Temporary Clerk of Council shall receive $15 PH per meeting and not less than $25 per meeting. <br />Section 2: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for employees of the Department of Law.
