WHEREAS. the Ciq of North Olmsted has applied lot $150.000.00 in Community Development 13 lock Grant ((1)136) funding through the ( uvahoga C'ounh Competitive Municipal Grant Diagram. based upon application and planning submissions for roadway improvements and other rehabilitation work oa VA-ast 231 street and WHEREAS. the ( DIM applications and the City Frwineei s preliminary estimates to], the West 231" Street Rehabibutiou Project were $250,26750; the Cit of North Olmsted is responsible Ior the costs exceedine the I I)B(i ,,rant award: and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this C'ouneil to authorize the Director of Economic & Community Development n> advertise for bids fur construction services lot the West 231" street Rehabilitation Prolcct. as rcqui�'cd b} law. and to authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder for same fol lowing Board of Control approval; and WHF',REAS.
