CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024 -17 <br />BY: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION A UTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD OF A CONTRACTS FOR <br />THE TRANSPORTATION AND DISPOSAL OF BIO -SOLIDS FROM THE <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT TO AN O.E.P.A. APPROVED SITE, <br />ANOTHER N.P.D.ES PERMIT HOLDER, OR OTHER AUTHORIZED <br />SITES AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO <br />AN AGREEMENTS WITH THE TWO LOWEST AND BEST BIDDERS <br />FOLLOWING APPROVAL BYTHE BOARD OF CONTROL, ASAMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, specifications have been prepared and are on file in the office of the <br />Director of Public Service for soliciting bids for the transportation and disposal of bio -solids <br />from the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids in accordance with said specifications on file, and to further authorize the <br />Mayor, upon approval of the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with the two lowest <br />and best bidders. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to advertise for <br />bids for the transportation and disposal of bio -solids from the Wastewater Treatment Plant, in <br />accordance with the plans and specifications now on file, and further that, upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreements with the two <br />lowest and best bidders and execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest period allowed by law upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: A,NiL.LhL <br />A EST: <br />etj <br />BEATRICE TA YL <br />Clerk of Council <br />First Reading., .2 -.?D-,2 <br />SecondReading: <br />Third Readi �p p / e <br />Committee:,fin,rrA4rt. nj T -W/4 f4 <br />LOUIS BROSSARD <br />President of Council <br />
