CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2024 - 98 <br />BY: Mayor Jones <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REESTABLISHING SECTION 161.11 <br />OF CHAPTER 161 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ENTITLED "NON - <br />BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEE BENEFITS" IN ORDER TO ADJUST <br />ACCUMULATED VACATION LEAVE. <br />WHEREAS, in order to attract and retain employees to the City of North Olmsted in a <br />highly competitive labor market, it is the desire of the administration to alter the Accumulated <br />Vacation Leave Policy of the City in order to allow the Administration to accept a lateral <br />employee's vacation time credits accumulated prior to date of transfer to the City; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, consistent with the recommendations of the <br />Administration, to adopt an amendment of Section 161.11 of the Administrative Code, entitled <br />"Accumulated Vacation Leave." <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />• SECTION 1: That Section 161.11 of Chapter 161, "Non -Bargaining Unit Employee <br />Benefits," of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, which presently reads in its <br />entirety as set forth in Exhibit A, attached to this Ordinance and incorporated by reference as if <br />fully rewritten herein, shall be amended, and as amended, shall read as set forth on Exhibit A, <br />with such amendments noted by strikethrough and boldface text. <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with <br />this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed.
