CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO.2025 - 47 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION A UTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF RECREATION AND <br />PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD <br />OF A CONTRACT FOR THE SPRINGVALE BALLROOM DRIVEWAY <br />INSTALLATION AND IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, AS DETAILED IN <br />SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE WITH THE CITY ENGINEER, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, FOLLOWING APPROVAL BY THE BOARD <br />OF CONTROL, TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SAME WITH THE <br />LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER. <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Recreation and Public Engagement recommends that the <br />City of North Olmsted advertise for bids to enter into a contract for the Springvale Ballroom <br />Driveway Installation and Improvements Project; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Recreation and <br />Public Engagement to advertise for bids for the Springvale Driveway Installation and <br />Improvements Project, as required by law, and to authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract <br />with the lowest and best bidder for same, following Board of Control approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Recreation and Public Engagement be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the Springvale Driveway Installation and <br />Improvements Project in accordance with the bid specifications now on file, and that following <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract and execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted with the lowest and best <br />bidder. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest date provided for by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST.• <br />- '64U�4 U <br />BEATRICE TAYLOR <br />Clerk of Council <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading: rj —ao a <br />Third Reading: le — 3 — a� <br />Committee: !p &St,o <br />LbdISJ BROSSARD <br />President of Council <br />
