CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO.2025 -113 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LEASE AND EXPENDITURE OF <br />EXISTING FUNDS FOR THREE (3) FLOCK CONDOR CAMERAS AND (1) <br />ONE FALCON CAMERA FOR $21,250.02 TO BE INSTALLED AT THE <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO <br />EFFECTUATE SUCH TRANSACTIONS. <br />WHEREAS, Flock Safety is a public safety operating system that captures objective <br />evidence, makes it actionable, and delivers it directly to the Division of Police to prevent and <br />solve criminal activity; and <br />WHEREAS, an implemented Flock Safety system is designed to provide a greater level <br />of safety and security to both neighborhood and business districts; and <br />WHEREAS, currently there are over six hundred (600) Flock cameras in use in the <br />Greater Cleveland area; and <br />WHEREAS, Flock cameras have been instrumental in assisting local police departments <br />in solving crimes committed within their jurisdictions; and <br />WHEREAS, the Wastewater Treatment Plant is seeking a one-year lease for 4 Flock <br />safety cameras using existing funds in the 2025 budget. The cameras will replace existing/aging <br />cameras at the plant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: The Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to enter into a Flock Safety <br />agreement with Flock Group, Inc. for the purchase of four (4) additional cameras at a cost of <br />$21,250.02, all as set forth in the Flock Safety agreement on file in the Department of Public <br />Service. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest period allowed by law upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: / 3Lt First Reading: IkN_ol Sr <br />Second Reading: <br />ThirdReading: <br />Committee:j[1f1�17L�� <br />
