CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO.2026 - 66 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH GOV-WORK, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF EIGHTEEN <br />THOUSAND ($18,000.00) DOLLARS TO PROVIDE COMMS-COACH <br />SOFTWARE AND SERVICES FOR THE NORTH OLMSTED EMERGENCY <br />DISPATCH CENTER, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the provision of Ohio Administrative Code 5507-1-20 requires all public <br />safety answering points (PSAP) have and maintain quality assurance and improvement programs <br />in place to monitor, review and improve Emergency Dispatch procedures and 911 phone calls; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Public Safety that the City of <br />North Olmsted engage GovWorx, Inc., as the sole source provider, manufacturer and developers <br />of CommsCoach platform to provide software and training services to review emergency dispatch <br />procedures and 911 phone calls; and <br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into <br />an Agreement with Gov Worx, Inc., at a cost of $18,000.00 to provide software and services to the <br />North Olmsted Emergency Dispatch Center. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and she hereby is authorized to enter into an Agreement <br />with Gov Worx, Inc., in the amount of $18,000.00 to provide for Comms-Coach software and <br />training services to review 911 phone calls and procedures for the North Olmsted Emergency <br />Dispatch Center. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that immediate installation of CommsCoach software is necessary to review 911 <br />calls and procedure, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: _ 1, X1134 FirstReading: <br />Second Reading: Sj- <br />Third Readin <br />Committee: _ <br />
