CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026 - 71 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A 2026 FORD F150 <br />STX FROM MONTROSE FORD WITH FUNDING FROM THE <br />HOTELIMOTEL FUND AS A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE FOR THE <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT AT A COST OF $46,254.00, AND FURTHER <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS <br />NECESSARY TO MAKE THIS PURCHASE, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Division of Police has determined that two vehicles need to be replaced; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Mayor that the Director of Public Safety enter <br />into an Agreement with Montrose Ford to purchase one (1) 2026 Ford F150 STX at a cost of <br />$46,254.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and she hereby is authorized to enter into an Agreement <br />with Montrose Ford for the Police Department to purchase a 2026 Ford F 150 STX. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that immediate authorization will allow the purchase of a needed safety vehicle; and <br />further provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: First Reading: '7741 �o <br />S d R d' <br />ATTEST: <br />BEATRICE TAYLOR u <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVE4:91�4�C�c <br />MAYOR NICOLE DAILE ONES <br />econ ea ang: <br />Third Readin — <br />Committee: _ s <br />LO J.
