CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO.2026 - 73 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, ON BEHALF OF THE <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT, TO PURCHASE AND FINANCE REPLACEMENT <br />OF THE CURRENT POLICE DEPARTMENT LOWER -LEVEL FLOORING, <br />ASBESTOS ABATEMENT, AND CONCRETE POLISHING, ACCOUNTED <br />FOR THROUGH THE BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS CAPITAL ACCOUNT. <br />WHEREAS, the Division of Police has determined that the current lower -level flooring is <br />inadequate and in need of replacement which will include removal of original flooring tiles and <br />asbestos abatement; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Mayor that the City enter into an Agreement <br />with A&I Solutions for tile removal and abatement at a cost of $20,700.00. The concrete polishing <br />and sealing will be completed by QuestMark for $19,196.00 for a total of $39,896.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and she hereby is authorized to enter into an Agreement <br />with A&I Solutions and QuestMark for the Police Department to have lower -level flooring <br />replacement, asbestos abatement, and concrete polishing at a total cost of $39,896.00. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest date provided for by law. <br />PASSED: / <br />ATTEST: <br />&r,- J'& <br />BEATRICE TAYLOR <br />Clerk of Council <br />First Reading: -- —76 <br />Second Reading:�¢e <br />Third Reading: `. w <br />Committee: JJ <br />LOUTS J.
