ORDINANCE NO. 5563 BY ~r. Dar~nstatter <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of <br />Finance to pay to C. A. Hall, 1424 Marlowe Avenue, Lakewood, <br />Ohio~ the sum of sixty-one dollars and forty-six cents <br />($61.46) in full settlement of .hii. claim against the City <br />of Lakewood on account of expense incurred for replacing <br />broken window in his store at 14505 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, <br />Ohio. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at a meeting of council November 18th 1935, <br />action was taken to allew C. A. Hall, sixty-one dollars and <br />forty six cents ($61.46) for this claim; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OFT HE <br />CITY OF LAKEVtOOD, STATE OF OHIO, two-thirds of ah members <br />thereof concurring: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he <br />is hereby authorized to pay $0 C. &. Hall, 1424 Marlowe Avenue, <br />Lakewood, the sum of sixty-one dollars and forty-six cents <br />($61.46) in full settlement of his claim against the city <br />of Lakewood on account of expense incurred for replacing broken <br />window in his store at 14505 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, <br />upon receipt of satisfactory release signed by C. A. Hall, re- <br />leasing the city of Lakewood from any and all further liabilities <br />in connection therewith. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the amount set forth in Section 1 <br />hereof be paid from appropriation 1-M (Damages paid by the <br />City) as set forth in Ordinance No. 3518, adopted by this Council <br />March 18, 1935. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure and shall be in full force and effect upon its <br />passage and approval by the mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted...D,~.¥ ~- t935 <br /> <br /> <br />
