ORDINANCE NOm 82- 3 <br />INTRODUCED BYo Mayor & Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH <br />ARMSTRONG FINANCIAL CONSULTANTS, INC., <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NOSB 81-22 ANb 81-31 <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCYm <br />WHEREAS, the contract between the municipality and Armstrong <br />Financial Consultants, Inc „ as authorized by Ordinance No. 81-31 <br />expired on December 31, 1981; and <br />WHEREAS, the municipality desires to renew that contract <br />for an additional term to expire on December 31, 1982; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determinefl that a financial consultant <br />is more beneficial to the effective operation of the Finance <br />Department than a financial administrator; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. The Mayor is hereby authorized, empowered, and <br />directed to enter into a contract with Armstrong Financial <br />Consultants, Inc., an Ohio corporation, as a financial consultant <br />to the Department of Finance of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the <br />period commencing January lp 1982 and terminating December 31, 1982 <br />on the terms and conditions set forth in Section 2 hereofo <br />? Section 2. The contract between Mayfield Village.and <br />Armstrong Financia2 Consultants, Ince shall be on such terms and <br />conditionsy in a form appr•oved by the Directox of Law, which shall <br />provide for, but not be limited to; the following: <br />(a) For all services performed pursuant to the <br />contract the Village sha11 pay to the contractor the <br />sum of One Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($1,100.00) <br />per month which shall include, but not be limited to, <br />two (2) full work days per week and attendance at <br />one (1) Council meeting per monthW Until otherwise <br />changed by Council, the contractors two (2) full wark <br />days per week shall be Tuesday and Thursday of each <br />week. <br />(b) The contractor shall act as consultant <br />to the operation of the Finance Departmerit of. Mayfield <br />Village and shall further assist the Director of <br />Finance as to all matters now specified in Section <br />5(e) of the Cliarter of Mayfield Village, Ohioa <br />(c) To the greatest degree possible the contractor <br />shall provide the services of its employee, Rutfi Ruggles, <br />in performance of this contracte
