RESOLUTION NO. 81-9.. :.:: <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REAR YARD DRAINAGE WORK <br />ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF HICKORY HILL WEST OF WOODBINE <br />CIRCLE IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED <br />DOLLARS ($3,200.00), AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that certain work should <br />be performed by the municipality to improve the drainage on the south <br />side of Hickory Hill west of Woodbine Circle; and <br />WHEREAS, the cost of said drainage work has been determined <br />by the Village Engineer to be less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Village has received a bid from Construction <br />Rental Equipment to perform the aforesaid drainage work for a sum not <br />to exceed Three Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($3,200.00); Now, Therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized, empowered and <br />directed to enter a contract with Construction Rental Equipment to <br />perform the rear yard drainage work at a cost not to exceed Three <br />Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($3,200.00) in accordance with the <br />specifications prepared by the Village Engineer, previously received <br />by Council, at the following addresses in the municipality: 480, 481 <br />and 484 Woodbine Circle and 6744 and 6752 Hickory Hill. <br />Section 2. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village in <br />that the work to be performed in accordance herewith is necessary to <br />maintain the existing natural drainage system within the municipality. <br />It shall therefore take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative <br />vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval <br />by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />Alan G.
