.~ <br />ORDINANCE NO. 81- 22 <br />INTRODUCED BY : COUNCIL AS A WHOLE <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF <br />FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR AND ESTABLISHING <br />THE CONDITIONS AND COMPENSATION OF SUCH <br />POSITION. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. There is hereby created in the Department of <br />Finance the position of Financial Administrator. The Financial <br />Administrator shall report to the Mayor and Council on all matters <br />concerning municipal finance, shall be subject to the direction <br />of the Director of Finance with regard to powers, duties and <br />responsibilities, but shall be expected to be the intermediary between <br />the municipality and the financial community with regard to municipal <br />debt. The Financial Administrator shall be expected to implement <br />such systems within the Finance Department as are necessary to maintain <br />the good credit standing of Mayfield Village with particular regard <br />to the issuance of notes and bonds. The Financial Administrator may <br />be an individual, firm or corporation appointed by motion of Council <br />approved by the majority of the members elected to Council. <br />~ Section 2. The compensation of the Financial Administrator <br />shall be Twelve Thousand Dollars ($12,000.00) per year plus expenses, <br />such compensation to continue and such appointment to continue at <br />the pleasure of Council. <br />APPROVED: ~ ~n I IBS ~ ~' <br />Robert Beebe, ayor Da <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM'; _ <br />Guerin L.
