Thex•e is hereby created -the position of .a. second <br />special policeman for the Village of Mayfield® <br />Section 2. It shall be the duty of the special_ palirenian <br />appointed hereunder .as hereinafter provided9 to perform such duties .as are <br />inctunbent upon him by the general nature of his off'ice® In the discharge of <br />his duties said. special policeman shall be directly tinder the supervision and <br />control of the Mayor of `this Village® Said Special policeman shall be employed <br />on .a part time ba:sa.s at times to be determined. by the Mayor of this Village, <br />provided, hov-ever9 that the time to be spent by such special ~ooiicema~n in the <br />discharge of his duties shall average four hours per day. <br />Section 3. The position hereby created shall be filled by <br />:appointment by th.e Mayor with the approval and consent of the Council of this <br />Vi~lage.. . <br />Section 4: Sa.3.d special policeman shall receive as compensa- <br />tion the sum of Si::ty Dollars "0760.00) per month for the duties performed by <br />him provided however that the compensation for the month commencing September <br />16, 1946 Gnd ending October 15, 1946, shall be in the ,amount of Ninety Dol:(,ars <br />(90®00); and he shall give bond in the sum of Hive Hundred Dollars (~;~5GO.C1O). <br />. Sect3.on 5® °1'r~.s ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />Emergency Ordinance r_ecessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health, safety, convenience and welfare for reasons .apparent from the contents <br />of this E3-rdi na.nce ands therefore9 this Ordinance shall take effect -.and be in <br />farce from .and after its passage. <br />Massed the l6th day of September, ~?.
