<br />8ection 1. That the assessment of the cost and erpense of the im-
<br />px•ovemerrt. of Glenview Road, from the.cent er line of S.0.1M. Center Road
<br />to the center line of, Beech Hill Road, by establishing a grade, grading,
<br />constructing_ sidevralks and draining, axnounuing, in the aggregzte, t0
<br />,0?11194.58 as reportod S? said Council on the day of ,1921,
<br />by the board heretofore appointed to estimate said assessment, be and the
<br />sasne is hereby ad ' opted,.ancl tha-t there be levied and assessed upon the lots
<br />and lands bounding and abutting on said GlenvieVr Roacl between the center
<br />lino of 8.6.1iI. Center. Road to the center line of Beech Hil1 Road, thQ
<br />several amounts heretoforo reported to. said Council by said boa-rd, vrhich
<br />assessment, together lrith the description of said lots and lands and the
<br />several amounts assessecl upon said lots and lands, is now on file in the
<br />office of the Clerk of said Council, trrhich assessments are in proportion
<br />to the special benefits. accruing to.the property assesseci, and are not
<br />in excess of the actual special benefits to said property.
<br />Section 2. That the total assessment against each lot and par•cel
<br />of land shall be payable in cash ?uithin thirty days frorn and after the
<br />passage and legal publica,tion of this ordinance, or in ten ar;nua.l install-
<br />men'us lvith interest a-t not to exceed six per centurn per arinum upon de-
<br />ferred payments, at tho option of the ol4rner. 1111 cash payments shall be
<br />made -to tihe Villa$e Tr:easui•er. All unpaid installments of assessments
<br />at the expiration of sa;rd thirty clays shall be certified by the Clerk
<br />of this Countil to the Coun'u,i,r quditor, together Zaritn fee for collocting
<br />saxne, as provided by lavr, to be by him placed upon the tax duplicate
<br />and collected as ather ta.Yes.
<br />'Soction 3. That this ordinance shall take effect ai-id be in force
<br />f'rom and after it s passage and earliest period alloyred by law.
