RESOLUTION N0. 814 <br />DAVIS <br />BY : MR. <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR <br />TO ADVANCE THE SUM OF $30,000,00 TO THE <br />VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD OUT OF CURRENT TAX <br />COLLECTIONS <br />WHEREAS, the balance in the General Fund of.the Village of Mayfield <br />has declined to the point where it will be impossible to meet the Village payroll <br />and to pay its bills for the month of February, 1972; and <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been collected by the County of <br />Cuyahoga from the taxpayers of the Village of Mayfield to cover such more than <br />is required to meet the March payroll and pay the March expenses; and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer and the Village of Mayfield extimates that <br />the sum of at least $30,000.00 is needed from current tax collections to pay <br />current expenses. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the Council of the Village of <br />Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Saction 1. The County Auditor of Cuyahoga County is hereby requested <br />to advance to the Village of Mayfield, out of the current tax collections, the <br />sum of at least $30,000.00, to be used fox general fund purposas. <br />Section 2, The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized to file a <br />certified copy of this Resolution with the County Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 3. This Resolution is hereby deemed to be an emergency measura, <br />necessary for the immediate presarvation o£ the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of tha Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order that the Village <br />may paq its obligations and keep its credit good, and this Resolution shall be in <br />force and effect immediately upon the date of its adoption. <br />Adopted this 21st day of February, 1972. <br />MA-YOR-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) //v CLERK-TREASURER
