RESOLUTION N0. 833 <br />Introduced by: Mr. Davis <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO <br />ADVANCE THE SUM OF $30,000.00 TO THE VILLAGE <br />OF MAYFIELD OUT OF CURRENT TAX COLLECTIONS <br />VdHEREAS, the balance in the General Fund of the Village of <br />Mayfield has declined to the point where it will be impossible to meet <br />the Village payroll and to pay its bi11s for the month of February, <br />1973; and <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been collected by the County <br />of Cuyahoga from the taxpayers of the Village of Mayfield to cover such <br />more than is required to meet the March payroll and pay the March <br />expenses; and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer and the Village of Mayfield <br />estimates that the sum of at least $30,000.00 is needed from current <br />tax collections to pay current expenses. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE <br />OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. l. The County Auditor of Cuyahoga County is hereby <br />requesiced to advance to the Village of Mayfield, out of the current tax <br />collections, the sum of at least $30,000.00, to be used for general <br />fund purposes. <br />Sec. 2. The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized to file a <br />certified copy of this Resolution with the County Auditor of Cuyahoga <br />County. , <br />Sec. 3. This Resolution is hereby deemed to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />heal.th, safety and welfare of the Village of D7ayfield and its inhabi- <br />tants, in order that the Village may pay its obligations and keep its <br />credit good, and this Resolution shall be in force and effect imme_? <br />diately upon the date of its adoption. <br />Adopted this 19th day of Febru , 1973. ` <br />ATTEST: MAYOR PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />-TREAS
