Carmen <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 131.04(b) <br />OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD <br />V ILLAG E, OH IO, AS ENACTED IN ORDINANCE <br />N0. 83-19, SO AS TO PERMIT MEMBERS OF <br />THE CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO HOLD <br />OTHER MUNICIPAL APPOINTED OFFICE BUT NOT <br />OTHER MUNICIPAL ELECTED OFFICE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 131.04(b) of the Codified Ordinances <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio, as enacted by Ordinance No. 83-19, is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />131.04 Citizens Advisory Committee. <br />? ?r * <br />(b) The Citizens Advisory Committee shall consist of <br />not more than fifteen (15) members, all of whom shall be <br />appointec7 by the Mayor on or after January lst of each <br />year, such appointments subject to the concurrence of a <br />majority of the members elected to Council. All members <br />shall be residents of the municipality and shall not hold <br />other municipal ELECTED office. -o-r- appo-i-n-tifterrt The Committee <br />shall select one of its members to serve as its Chairman. <br />Section 2. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 3e This Ordinance sha ake effect at the <br />earliest time allowed by law. <br />? <br />? <br />Richard C.
