MINUTES OF THE REGULP-R MEETIIeiG IiELD MAY 2Q 9 1946. <br />The Council of the VilZage of Mayfield met in the Town Hall in <br />regular meeting on the 20th day of iMay, 1946 at 8s00 P.PJIq, Mayor Car7. <br />C. Schzuring presiding, <br />Roll Calla Present - Messrs. Franz, Swanson, Sl.oan, Parker <br />and Heisso <br />Absent - Mr. Zingleman. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting held April 15' 1946, were <br />read to the Council. It was moved by Mra Swa,nson, seconded by Mr. Parker <br />that the minutes be approved as reado <br />Roll Calls Ayes -;dlessrs. Franz, Stivanson., Sloan, Parlcer <br />and Heias. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Minutes Approvedv <br />Mro Zingleman arrived a.t the mee-ting at this timea <br />A petition rras presented to the Council signed by the ovm ers of <br />in excess of sixty percent of the frontage on S. 0e M. Center Road from <br />the southerly corporation line to a point eighteen hundred feet North <br />from the center line of Wilson'a Mi11s Road. Tne peti-tion has been <br />referred to the Village Engineer and he has cer•tified to the Council to <br />the suft'iciency of the petition. <br />9fter discussion evas had Mro Swanson introduced Resolution No.144, <br />entitled "A Resolution Declaring It Necessary to Improve S. 0. M. Center <br />Road from the southerly Cor•porati.on Line to a Point eighteen hundred feet <br />North from the Center Line of Wilson°s Mills Road by Constructing therein <br />Water Mtzins and Appurtenances Thereto"' vrhich svas read to the CounciY. <br />A motion was made by Mr. Franz, seconded by Mr. Zingleman that <br />Resolution Noo 144 be passed as reado <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Franz, Swanson,, Sloan, P.e.rker, Heiss <br />and Zingleman. <br />Nays - Noneo <br />Motion Carriedo <br />Resolution Passed. <br />A motion tivas made by Mr. Sloan9 seconded by Mrm Swanson to authorize <br />and instruct the Village Engineer to prepare the neeessary plans and specifi- <br />cations for the water improvernent and for tne Solicitor to negotiate with the <br />City of Cleveland for a ivater contraet. <br />RoI1 Callm Ayes - Messrs.
