MINUTES OF 1HE REGULAR TEETING:.HELD JiTLY 21' 1947. The Council of the Village of Ma.yfield met in the ToFrn Hall in regular meeting on the 21st day of July, l947, at 8:00 P.Mo, Mayor Carl C. Scheuring presiding, Roll Call: Present - Messrs9 Swanson, Sloan, Zingelma.nn, Parker and Heiss. Absent - Mr. Franz. The minutes of the -regular meeting held June 16, 1947, were read to the Councilo It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mre Heiss, tYat the minutes be approved as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs..5wanson9 Sloanp Zirgelmann, Parxer and Heiss. Nays - Nonem Motion Carried. Minutes Approved. Ordinance No. 267 entitled "An Ordinance Fixind the Ra.te of Compensation for Snow Plowing" was given its second readingo , Mrm Sloan introduced Ordirance Nom 268 entitled "An Ordinance Offering to Contract and Fixing the Maximum Ra-tes for Electricity in the viiiage of Mayiield, Ohio, for a period of four years, subject to cancella- tion after the first two years of said ter•m a.nd to Repeal Ordinance No.252 passed June 17, 1946." and moved that the rules of law be susnended and Ordina.nce 1Vo. 268 be placed on its final passagea It was seconded by M-r. Zingelmannm Roll Call: Ayes - Messrso Swanson, Sloa.n' Zingelmann, Parker a.nd Heiss, Nays - None. Motion Carriede A motion was made by Mro Swanson, seconded by Mr. Heiss that Ordinaiace No. 268 be passed as reado Roll Call: Ayes - Nessrs. Swanson, Sloan, Zingelmann, Parker and Heiss. Nays - None, Motion Carried. Ordina.nce Passed. Mr. Sloan introdacted 0-rdinance No, 269 entitled "An Etnergency Ordinance Authorizing and Directing Modification of the Street Lighting Agreement dated September 17, 1946, between the Village and The Cleveland Electric Illurninating Company of Clevel?.nd, Ohio" and moved tha.t the ru.les of law be suspended and Ordinance No. 269 be placecl on its fina.l passage.
