MINUTES OF 1HE REGULAR TEETING:.HELD JiTLY 21' 1947. <br />The Council of the Village of Ma.yfield met in the ToFrn Hall in <br />regular meeting on the 21st day of July, l947, at 8:00 P.Mo, Mayor <br />Carl C. Scheuring presiding, <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs9 Swanson, Sloan, Zingelma.nn, Parker <br />and Heiss. <br />Absent - Mr. Franz. <br />The minutes of the -regular meeting held June 16, 1947, were read <br />to the Councilo It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mre Heiss, tYat <br />the minutes be approved as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs..5wanson9 Sloanp Zirgelmann, Parxer <br />and Heiss. <br />Nays - Nonem <br />Motion Carried. <br />Minutes Approved. <br />Ordinance No. 267 entitled "An Ordinance Fixind the Ra.te of <br />Compensation for Snow Plowing" was given its second readingo <br />, Mrm Sloan introduced Ordirance Nom 268 entitled "An Ordinance <br />Offering to Contract and Fixing the Maximum Ra-tes for Electricity in the <br />viiiage of Mayiield, Ohio, for a period of four years, subject to cancella- <br />tion after the first two years of said ter•m a.nd to Repeal Ordinance No.252 <br />passed June 17, 1946." and moved that the rules of law be susnended and <br />Ordina.nce 1Vo. 268 be placed on its final passagea It was seconded by <br />M-r. Zingelmannm <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrso Swanson, Sloa.n' Zingelmann, Parker a.nd <br />Heiss, <br />Nays - None. Swanson, Sloan, Zingelmann, Parker and <br />Heiss. <br />Nays - None, <br />Motion Carried. <br />Ordina.nce Passed. <br />Mr. Sloan introdacted 0-rdinance No, 269 entitled "An Etnergency <br />Ordinance Authorizing and Directing Modification of the Street Lighting <br />Agreement dated September 17, 1946, between the Village and The Cleveland <br />Electric Illurninating Company of Clevel?.nd, Ohio" and moved tha.t the ru.les <br />of law be suspended and Ordinance No. 269 be placecl on its fina.l passage. <br />It Wa.s seconded by Mr. Zingelmanno
