Noyes spoke at length ota these <br />matters. Allen McKnightm It was moved by Irdrr. <br />Harciman, seconded by Mr. Franz, tha,t these appointments be confarrned. <br />Ro15. Arno9.d Ede].man, a Notax°y F04ic, adm3nistered the oath of offa.ce. <br />The C1erk then reported that a bid we had ple.ced for the purchase <br />of'a tx•uck from Zilayfield Heights• Vi1Le.ge was the highest received, but <br />that the3r Council had dec3.ded to reject all bsds. <br />The C9.erk then annouuced that, pursuant to a Motaon passed by <br />Couzieil at the x°eguiar meeta.rzg oP Seutember 20thg 1948, the Vf1lage <br />advertised in the mannter and form proroided by law for bids on a used <br />diamp truck, to be used for mainta3.ni.ng,aottstrt?ctiffigs repa3.rings widening, <br />clearing and cleaning pubI3.c streets end to be paid for out of the Street <br />Maintenanae and Repair Funds derived from the gasoline tax and the motor <br />vehiole Y3.cense tax; that a sealed bict in accordance wi°th said advert3.se- <br />meut was duly filed by Talarico Trzck SaIes & Service Co.a this bbing the
