Franz,, Hardnlan, S1oan, Zingleman, <br />Cass and Hea.ss. <br />Absent - None <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting held February 21st, 1949, wore <br />read to the Council. It was movad by T?tir. Zingleman, seconded by Pr1r. S1oan <br />that the minutes be approved as read. , <br />Ro1l Ca11s Ayes = Messrs. P'ranz, Hardr,ian, S.loan, Zingleman, <br />Cass and Heissa <br />Nays - None. <br />PAotion CarrS.ed <br />Minutes Approved. . <br />hayor Swansoxt read to Council a letter from the City of Cleveland. <br />Water Departmen't saying that they ha.d received our Resoluti on Tdo 0 163 re- <br />questing a water supply contract from the City of Cleyeland, vahich request <br />tivas pla.ced on its yvaitirzg last0 III this letter it stated tha.t not until <br />1952 tivould tkley be able to suppl,y us wa.th -water and suggested that vve go <br />ahead with the proposed installation an.d distribu'tion of water.mains and <br />submit plans and specifications to them. This ma-tter was discussed in <br />Council fr.om the stanclpoint of getting Govorninent aid for a survey. <br />Anothar lettar from the East Ohio Gas Co. vvas brought to the atten- <br />t5.ori of Council. In thxs letter the East Ohio stated that they cou1d not <br />furnish gas at the present time because of the exi.sting Government restrictions <br />on gas for heating purposes and suggested that we write again around September <br />lst. . <br />Tlayor Swanson discussed tivith Council the possibility of getting <br />Bus service North on SOTJ Center Road from ti'Tilson ft4i7.ls Road. He stated that <br />he had had a great matiy requests for th7s serva.ce and had taken the 1a.berty <br />of writS.ng the Redifer BLls Compar?y askxlag for such service. At the time of <br />Council moeting no reply'f'rom the Bus Company had been received@ <br />l11r. 14anley, who was present at Council, aslced fbr permission to <br />spoak of a proposed Drive-in Theatre on the Wiseberg property.
