MTNIITES OF A SPECIAI, MEETING <br />HELD NOVEtEER 9. 1932. <br />The Council of the Village of Pllayfield met at the Town Hall, <br />Mayfield Village, on Wednesday, the 9th day of November, 1932, at 8 o'clock., <br />P. M. in special meeting, Mayor Arthur Dawson presiding. <br />Roll Callt Present, Messrs. Willis9 Parker' Lockemer, Patte-rrson' <br />Corlett and Bennetta <br />Absent, None. <br />The Mayor announced th.at this meeting was called for the purpose <br />of considering an ordinance limiting the right to hunt within the Village <br />limits. Pdt.r. Parker then introduced Ordinance N.o. 141 entitled "9n Ordinance <br />Prohibiting the Discharge of Firearms Within the Village Limits't. After <br />discussion tivas had it was moved by Mr. Vdillis, seconded by Mr. Bennett, <br />that the rules of law requiring ordinan.ces to be read on three different <br />days be dispensed with and that Ordinance No. 141 be placed upon its final <br />passagee <br />Roll Call: Ayes9 Pllessrs. V9illis' Parker, Lockemer, Patterson' <br />Corlett and Bennetto <br />Nays; None. <br />Motion carried. <br />It was then moved by Mrv Parker, seconded by Mr. Pat'uerson' that <br />Ordinance No. 141 be passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes, Pdessrs. Willis, Parker, Lockemer, Patterson, <br />Corlett and Bennett. <br />Nays' None. _ <br />lUfotion carried.. <br />Ordinance.passed. <br />Discussion was then had by the Council concerning the giving of <br />notice of the passage of this Ordinance. It was then moved by Mr. Lockemer, <br />seconded by Mr. Corlett, that the.Marshal be instructed to obtain five <br />canvas banners,similar to those used by the surrounding villages, to be <br />placed over the roads leading into the ViLlage bearing the wording "No <br />Hunting or Shooting in Mayfield Village" and also to secure the necessary <br />number of cardboard posters to insure due notice of the passage of this <br />Ordinance being giveno <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes' Messrs. Willis2 Parker' Lockemer, Patterson, <br />Corlett and Bennett. <br />Nays, None. <br />Motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the meeting the <br />Council, upon motion made, seconded, put to a vote and unanimously carried' <br />adjournea.
