NIIN-iTTES OF THE ADJOURNED iVIEETING HELD AUGUST 24, 1936. <br />The Council of the Village of PlIayfield met in the Town Hall' Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio, on the 24tn day of kugust, 19369 in pursuance to the adjournment <br />tb: that time from August llth' 1936, tAaJor ponald Doster presidingo <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrsa Corlett, Heiss9 Shortles Voorhees, Nis'm <br />Parker and Plirs e Parker o <br />Absente Nonea <br />In tlie absence of the Clerk, F. tivo Dorn acted as clerk pro tem. The <br />ininutes of the regular meeting held August llth, 1936, were read. It was moved <br />by IJIr. Shartle, seconded by lUlr. Parker9 that the minutes be approved as rea.d. <br />Ro].l Call: Ayes, Messrso Corlett, Heiss, Shortle, Voorhees, Parker and <br />Pllrs. Parker ; Nays, Nonem • , Motion carried ? <br />Minutes approveda <br />The Solicitors reported that T11rm P. A. Frye had deposited the sum of <br />$100.00 to cover the costs and expenses of the appropriation of real estate for <br />the opening of Ridgebw^y Boulevard, which was in accordance with the request by <br />tbe council made at the last meetingm Thereupon9 Qrdinance Noa 170 entitled <br />"An Ordinance to Appropriate Property for Street Purposes" was introduced by Pllrm <br />Corlett and read to the Councilm <br />It was moved by Mra Corlett, seconded by Mre Voorhees, that Ordinance <br />Noe 170 be passed as reada <br />Roll Call: Ayes' Messrs. Corlett, Heiss, Shortle, Voorhees, Parker and <br />Mrsm Parker. <br />Nays, None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Ordinance passedo <br />The clerk pra t,em then read the bid of Central National Bank of Cleveland <br />for a contract with the Village £or the deposit of the public funds-and reported <br />that this was the only bid received in pursuance to the advertisments for bids <br />heretofore made in accordance with lawo <br />Ordinance No. 171 entitled "An Ordinance Providing for a Depository <br />Contract with Central National Bank of Cleveland" was then introduced by Mrso <br />Parker and was read to•the Council. <br />It was moved by PQr. Voorhees, seconded by Mr. Corlettg that the rules of <br />law requiring ordinances to be read on three di.fferent days be suspended and that <br />Ordinance P1oo 171 be placed upon its final pa.ssagee <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes, Messrs. Corlett' Heiss9 Shortle, Voorhees, Parker <br />and Nirs m Parker e <br />Nays9 Nonem <br />Motion carried <br />It was moved by Mr. Corlett9 seconded by Mr. Voorhees, that Ordinance <br />No. 171 be passed.as readm <br />Rol].
