M. <br />in regular meeting, Mayor ponald Doster presidingm <br />Roll Call: Present, Messrse Corlett, Parker2 Heiss, Shortle, <br />Voorhees and PJirs. Parker. <br />Absent' None. <br />The minutes of the Adjourned Meeting held kugust 24, 1936, were read <br />to the Councilo It was moved by Mro Corlett, seconded by IVCr. Heiss9 that the <br />minutes of the adjou.rned meeting held August 24, 1936, be approved as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes, Messrso Corlett, Parker, Heissa Shortle9 Voorhees <br />and Mrs. Parker. <br />Nays, None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Minutes approvedm <br />The Mayor reported on the situ.ation created by the high speed of <br />vehicles on SQM Center Roada I <br />Mra Berry presented plans for a house on Wilson Mills Roado It <br />was moved by ll4ra Parker, seconded by iVlr. Voorhees that the building inspector be <br />authorized to issue a permit to Mra Berry. <br />Roll Call: Ayes, Messrs. Corlett, Parker, Heiss, Shortle, Voorhees <br />and I'drs. Corlett, that the rules <br />of law requiring ordina.nces to be read on three different days be suspended and <br />that Qrdinance No. 172 be placed upon its final passage.
