MINUTES OF THE REGULP.R MEETING <br />HELD OCTOBER 19th, 1936e <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in the Towrn Ha119 iwayfield <br />Villaoe, Ohio, on the 19th day of Qctober, 1936, at S o°clock P. M. in regular meeting, <br />Mayor ponald Doster presidingm <br />Roll Call: Present, Messrsm Corlett9 Parker, Heiss, Shortle' and Mrse <br />Parker, <br />Absent, Mro Voorheeso <br />The minutes of the regular meeting held September 28th, 1936, were read <br />to the Council. It was moved by Mr. Parker' seconded by Mrm Heiss, that the minutes <br />of the regular meeting held September 28th, 19369 be approved as reado <br />Rol1 Call: Ayes, Messrsm Corlett, Parker, Heiss, Shortle and DArs. Parkero <br />Nays9 Nonem <br />Motion carried. <br />Minutes approvedo <br />A letter from The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company a.sking permis- <br />sion to relocate a pole at the corner of S.O.M. Center Road and Glenview Road9vras readv <br />' It was moved by Plirso Parker, secon.ded by Mx°o Shortle that The Cleveland <br />Electric Illuminating Co. be granted permission to move such pole, <br />Roll Call: Ayes' Messrs. Corlett, Parker, Heiss9 Shortle and Mrso Parkera <br />Nays9 None. <br />Nlotion earried. <br />After discussion on the matter of installing a water main on S.O.M. Center <br />Roacl, it was moved by Mr. Corlett., seconded by Niro Shortle9 that the solicitor <br />request the engineer to prepare an estimate of cost of material for water maine <br />Roll Callo Ayes, Messrsm Corlett9 Parker9 Heiss9 Shortle and Mrso Parkere <br />Nays9 None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Ntro Heiss then introduced Ordinance Noa 162-P entitled "An Qrdinance to <br />Pay Certain Bi11s", which ordinance vras read to the Councila It: was moved by Pllro <br />Heiss9 seconded by Mr. Corlett} that Ordinance Noo 162-P be passed as reado <br />Ro11 Callr Ayes: Messrsa Corlett, Parker, Heiss, Shortle'and Mrs. Parkere <br />Nays: None. <br />Motion carried, <br />Ordinance passedo <br />After discussion was had concerning the circle at Soa.Mm Center Road and <br />Gates sAiiis Boulegard' it was moved by lUlro Parker, seconded by PrLr. Heiss, that <br />the Village Clerk be instructed to v;rrite to the Ohio Department of Highvrays to <br />apprise them of the dangerous situation existing at this circle and to urge that <br />steps be taken to remedy this dange.rous situationo The motion was put to a vote <br />and unanimously carriede <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, upon motion <br />duly made, seconded, put to a vote and unanimousl,y carried, the Council adjourn.eda <br />Approved: <br />i ? ; Z(??7iUA <br />Nlayor - President of Councilm <br />AtteSt4 <br />Village Clerko
