1 <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />November 16, 19,53 <br />The Council met in regular meeting on November 16, 1953, at <br />8 o~clock P. M. at the Village Ha11, Mayor Gustav S~nson presiding. <br />fto11 Ca11: Present - Messrs Waltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Oatess & Cass. <br />Absent - Mr. Endress. <br />In the absence of the Clerk, Mr. Arnold M. Edelman, the Solicitor, <br />was appointed to act as Clerk pro tem®, <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting held October 1, 19539 were <br />read. It was moved by Dr. Waltz, seconded by Mrs. Cass, that the Minutes <br />be approved as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes -,Waltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Oatess & Cass. <br />Nays - None. <br />L <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />The Minutes of the Special Meeting held Ootober 27, 1953, <br />were also. read by the Clerk pro tem. It was moved by Mr. Scheuring, <br />seconded by Mr. Sloan, that the Minutes be approved as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Oatess & Cass. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />The Minutes of the Special Meeting held November 9, 1953, were <br />read by the Clerk pro tem. It was moved by Dr. Waltz, seconded by Mr. <br />Oatess, that the Minutes be approved as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Oatess & Cass. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />.Minutes Approved <br />Mayor Swanson.. read a letter. from Mayor Wills of Richmond <br />Heights regarding a"meeting to be held at the Richmond Heights Village <br />Hall on November 18th, to consider the proposed extension of the County <br />Airport. Mayor Swanson urged all interested parties to attend© <br />Mr. Jesse Fisher presented a revised plat for proposed Fisher <br />Subdivision No. l on Thornapple Drive, The. plat now shows a turn-around <br />of 120 feet in diameter but does not. show a reservation of 50 feet of land <br />for a proposed street to~the rear of the Simon property. Mr. F`i.sher <br />thought that his giving of an option to Mr. Simon should be sufficient. <br />Mr. Edelman advised, however, that the reservation must be shown on the <br />plat. <br />1. <br />
