1 Minutes of the Regular Meeting January 18, 195l~ The Council met in regular- meeting.on January 18, 195l~, at 8:00 P. B6, at the Village Hall, Mayor Donald .Hodgson presiding.. Roll Call: Present - Messrs Beard,.Whiti:ng, Oatess, Taylor & Swanson Absent - Ddr. Endress. The Council members present were administered the oath of office by Mr. Arnold Edelman, - a Notary Publ3.c. The Mayor, Mr. Hodgson, the Treasurer-, Mr. Rogers, and the Clerk, Mr. Schwemler, had been previously administered the oath of office by Mr. Edelman. . Mayor Hodgson made a brief.statement.to the effect that he had the greatest confidence in the Council and knew that the new term would be one of progress. The minutes. of the regular meeting of December 21,• 1953, were read by the Clerk. It was moved by Mr. Taylor,. and seconded by Mr. Swanson, that the 11~inutes be approved as read9 subject to change in the police car mileage shown in the minutes of tha.t~meeting as n3,5I~1 (l~I~91~)."
